dave has made all the valid points, but

The d3 doesn't have a swing out boot they have a split boot one goes up and the lower section goes down to make a platform, which is ideal to sit on etc. and the load space is huge!!!!! Lots of people have them in Oz over on the Disco3 site and will be able to give there opinion.

What year RRS or Vogue would they be? 3 year warranty could always be extended if thats is a option.

Belgium 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Rimini Red

I got a LR3 courtesy car for a day. Man, that's like driving a Hummer, sooooo big.

But I guess the comparison is wrong as it goes about driving experience and the kind. The boot is huge, the hydraulic suspension makes it drive like if stones and potholes don't exist. Really, a fantastic driving experience, as long as you don't have to park it in a garage box or pass tractors, Hummers and tanks on smaller roads. But I heard it doesn't compete with the Freelander2 for reliability.

By the way, I find it ugly, but that's a question of taste. Confused

Yes I cant 'grow to love' the D3 either, I did consider a used one instead of an fl2 but not for long, just too big for my needs. At work

Having had both the RRS and now a FL2, my vote would be for the FL2!

Hey does anyone have comparison shots of the LR2 and RRS? Really interested to see them since it's pretty much between the two. Thanks,
Lewis

Best solution would be try them both at your local, friendly dealer. I would've liked to buy a RRS, but too big for wife especially parking, and out of price range. Ironically, she did take a fancy to the RRV but she looked like a golf ball when sitting in it Laughing Phil
