Has anyone noticed the difference between a cars speedometer and the speed a satnav gives? on mine there is anything up to 5mph difference.

Don't know about others but I've found that the LR Speedos are pretty much on the money, within 1 to 2mph at worst. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Only about 1mph out here too. I'd only expect to see 5 with over-sized tyres, or something!

I'm with LandRover insurance since new, have always undercut others for premium but they also charge £50 per 3 point speeding offence (mine's £100 extra Sad )

My speedo when reading 70mph is indicating 68mph on my sat nav.

Satnav speed indication is an average calculated using GPS so it will depend on GPS margin of error (you might say accuracy) and the speed/frequency at which the device recalculates its position. 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green
