Missing blocks and navigation from satnav

Hi,
Jumped in my 07 SE fir a drive tonight and noticed that my satnav is missing the blue block that shows the distance and time to destination, also the view options was missing about 2/3 of the options, the one that shows the next junction etc is missing so its not giving me any nav/route info apart from the visual route and audio prompts.
I looked all over the settings but couldn't get it sorted.
It was fine the last I used it and nothing has been done to the car..

What's the problem, any ideas?
Ta

The following morning I gave the DVD a wipe and it all works fine now, so either it was dirty or the over night power down fixed it... odd
