Welcome. Sorry to hear of your problems but hopefully now you can enjoy your FL2. |

Just added a couple of pics to the gallery. The number plate came with the car which was a bonus. It is in very good condition and appears not to have had a hard life in any way. I did think of adding the side steps like my sons but it reduces the ground clearance too much and makes it difficult to get the trolley jack under the front end as I found out when I was sorting out his power steering issue. It is a manual gearbox version and I will be towing an unbraked camping trailer with a max load rating of 750Kg so I will have to wait and see if there are any issues. I have had various 4wd vehicles over the years but this is my first LR and my initial thoughts are that it is a shame that they appear to have quite a few potential issues as they are a brilliant vehicle when they are going well. I was going to get a Subaru Legacy Outback before I drove my sons. I really do like the Freelander and so does my wife so we will just have to wait and see how it pans out. |

I hope that your ownership goes smoothly and that you enjoy the car. I have owned mine for just over a year and the car itself has covered 24,000 miles (September 2011). It's been faultless and I'm really enjoying it. I have just returned from a 2000 mile trip to Spain and France which I thoroughly enjoyed.
