it's a shame TG has lost the plot and is no longer an informative source of info for car enthusiasts.

I still don't get vanning, why pay £30k for a towing car and £20k for a pikey wagon?! when you could have bloody brilliant holidays abroad for that and guarantee good weather and not have to empty you own Toilet!!?!

I think it comes down to the freedom to go where you like, and move on if you don't like where you are. also a lot of vanners have pets and can take them with them and give them a bit of a holiday as well !! also you don't have the hassle of airport queues or the regime of hotels. and modern caravans/and sites are just like a home from home. I don't have a caravan, but I can certainly see the attraction. Iain |

For years now I have had TG on series record but if next week's isn't a substantial improvement on last night's rubbish then it's had it for me. Well past its sell-by date, no new ideas, silly staged stunts masquerading as tests. Just courting popularity (remember, the Sun is the most popular newspaper but would you read it?). Lowest common denominator for humour, lavatorial level. "Stars" in reasonably priced cars are now z-list celebrities. Presenters are beginning to look like the Rolling Stones - wrinklies trying to appear "cool". Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto
