From the announcement at the start of the topic

Quote:
Due to demand this is a new area to post up good deals, bargains or otherwise interesting Fl2/LR2 items - vehicles, parts, accessories, etc - spotted on eBay (or other auction/listings sites).

It is NOT to be used to promote your own items - you may list items completely free of charge in the For Sale & Wanted area - why pay eBay's fees and then post a link back?

Please post eBay items as links to the items, not item numbers

It is not NOT to be used by traders - this forum is still covered by the Commercial Posting Rules

Anybody abusing this section will find their kidneys listed on eBay

You cannot add a link to your own eBay listings anywhere on the forum, they will be removed without notice.
Any listings to products are scrutinised and if the link appears genuine then it will be left in place.

Put your items on here, you will get a good response and there are no eBay fees to pay, with heavy items the Freel2 courier network is always an option.

eBay make a lot of money and we don't want to advertise for them for free, they don't give the forum a commission, the same van also be said for those people who advertise eBay listings from commercial enterprises, they also benefit from free advertising and the forum gains nothing.

The thread will be left in place as it ill serve as a good reminder to others about the eBay situation.

Same can be said for people who list items on here and promise a donation to the forum, but the donation they offer is less than half of what it would have been payable to eBay if it had sold there. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

A donation is a donation, it doesn't have to match eBay fees as anything is welcome, some are generous some pay nothing, it is discretionary and not publicised and doesn't matter how large or small, using the forum in the spirit it was intended is the important factor and long may it continue Thumbs Up
