Thanks Nick. I am starting to think buy cheap buy twice here but I can't really justify spending that. I am hoping for a mid market machine that will cut the mustard. _________________

I use the DAS 6 Pro from the company in npinks link. Predominantly use a finishing pad with Poorboys Black Hole.

Mines a 2011, I only use Werkstat Acrylic Jett trigger spray, it is a sealant type product that builds up and fills the scratches, the shine is awesome.

Clear coats is what brings out the paint beneath, if the clear is marred and swirled your not going to see the paint pop

That's why the acrylic sealer works well, it fills the clearcoat and the flakes 'pop' |

I'm of the same opinion and am careful about clear coat .....but, I do like tickling out my scratches from catching hedges or the odd mysterious mark!! 90% of the time I just use a finishing pad with no cut to skip over the whole car with minimal effort filling swirls and light scratches with black hole. Werkstatt will be my next investment, do you use the prime etc or just the acrylic jett? 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Manual GONE! Taz, looking at what you are using, is there loads of muscle required ? The instructions to spray on and wipe off sounds too easy. I have shoulder injuries and waxing on and off by hand nearly kills me, hence why I am considering a polisher. _________________

Each to their own Taz, my paint doesnt pop, it's just cream none Metalic so just the depth of gloss that can change, the werkstat kit is good though from what I have seen Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Aero, I have psoriatic arthritis in both wrists, I can't get lids off jars but polishing with Jett is quick and easy, sounds too good to be true, but anyone who has seen my car or used it will tell you what it is like.
