Does anyone know the floor to wheel arch height?

I came out this morning and i thought my gap between the tyre and the arch looked higher than normal, which i think could indicate that the car was settle down to one side more than another, it could have been that the wheels were turned and one wheel was in a dip in my drive

I have parked it on the flat at the office and taken measurements and would like to compare Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

it seems to be sitting level on the flat around 83/84cm floor too arch and has been stood for 30mins so i assume it would settle lower is a suspension spring or shock absorber was failing

just spoke to my LR dealer and she said she had never heard of this before

I have had my tracking checked yesterday and the rear was slightly out which i got corrected

well if it is something 150mile tow at the weekend might bring it out a little more Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Mine has been parked in my garage all day. So I had to find out what my height was...

84cm front
86cm rear

Empty boot and just under 1/2 tank of fuel.

so mine been a full tank and a jack in the boot could equate for the lower readings

Just had my dad sit in it and it hardly moved

Think it might be something other than the suspension now and its not sitting lower

Tracking checked, suspension seems ok, wheels balanced anything else that could make the rear feel a little loose going round a corner at normal speeds 10/20mph  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

It can feel odd after a wheel alignment.

Check for any tire wear and tyres pressures again. My garage always over inflates my tyres for some reason.

Did they adjust the Camber setting? Get the garage to recheck again.

Have you checked your nuts are tight

i think its me, been out today and driven some country lanes and not had it happen again, either at slower or higher speeds

End of the day if something becomes apparent whilst away i have LRA & Caravan club mayday cover and the LRA extended warranty so it can pop in to a dealer if needed whilst away Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
