Unfortunately I can't have it retrofitted to mine which is an eldiss with an Albe chassis, however mine has the active steering chassis and is very stable in extreme conditions.I believe we have all seen unstable trailers of both the leisure and working kinds and I would venture to suggest that an inapprpriately laden poorly maintained unserviced and barely roadworthy farm trailer is as bad as any |

Thanks very much. Good read. Does anyone around here pull an airstream trailer or other 4-6 person camper? I ask because many small tent trailers can close in on 3500 lbs. Coming soon: LR2 HSE; Alaska White; Nav; Premium Sound; Bluetooth; Lighting Package |

Rev, In the UK handbook the max towing limit on road is 2000kg. (4400lbs), In the North American Market handbook it states 1585kg (3500lbs). The Caravan Club in the UK advise not to tow a caravan more than 85% of the weight of a car. I think a similar compulsory ruling must apply over there hence lowering your towing limit. Younger drivers in the UK must not exceed the 85% rule. There are people on this website who tow similar weights and haven't mentioned any problems. However most of us have diesels (TD4) waaxh03 |
