You didn't even slow down , at 50 odd it could have done some damage, I had a seagull go straight through my headlight with it's legs hanging out on the old XTrail, mind you it was in flight.

I try not to slow because of other traffic maybe behind but it's kinda automatic and since the seagull expense I will if it's clear behind.

I did slow down, the blackvue missed it, it records in 2 minute segments and this turned out to be right at the end, the next segment shows 34mph

I saw it and it was stood on the kerb, moving really slowly as if it was thinking should i or shouldn't I make a run for it, then went it did, i braked a bit think that could have been a new bumper/fog light etc  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I actually came across it as my blackvue had crashed, so wanted to check what had been recorded, the wife leaves for work and i thought i know i will see if the motion detection had picked up the milk man as i know they come about half five onwards.

Didn't know the Blackvue's had motion detection. Do you keep it on all the time then?

mine is switched on 24/7, it has motion detection setting in park mode, so when your parked if nothing is moving it won't record, if something moves in front it records, also will if your bumped in to

I have mine on for 6 hours which is the minimum time with the Magic Pro box. Car is garaged and it's never parked outside any longer than that time.
