wheel bearing issue

Hello together,
I’ve just recognized a noisy noise at right rear side of our FL2 – quite sure that it’s a wheel bearing issue. Does anybody has an idea how to change such a bearing? Work instruction or something else? Is there an issue with drive shaft during disassembly?

Best regards
Pete

- the bearing replacement is similar to all other cars.No special tools needed just a workshop press.Any mechanic should be able to do it easily. The driveshaft can stay connected to the diff or can be removed from it by just pulling it out. There should be no oil leak from the diff as the shaft is removed.

Regards M.

Dobry den! Smile

Sounds good, that means our specialist mustn't disassembly whole drive shaft.
Remove wheel, remove screw-nut, press out destoyed bearing, press in new bearing, mount new screw nut.
Press in/out with special tool kit?

I found two types of wheel bearing, one with an inner diameter of 43.9 mm and one with 44 mm inner diameter.
Do you know which one is the right one? Both of them are mentioned as bearings for FL2 i6 3.2 petrol.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi,

there is a workshop manual available on this forum where the procedure is described - it is a few more bolts and nuts than you say as the whole nuckle has to be removed. As for the bearing there is only one dimension - for example

IPD 30-2031
QUINTON HAZELL QWB1106
ROVER GHK 1692
ROVER RUD100120
ROVER RUD100150
RUVILLE 6126
SKF VKBA 3603
SNR R161.26

Hope this will help Michal
