Romania 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Izmir Blue

You might also want to check if all doors can be unlocked from the inside as there was a report here that sometimes the passanger door does not open from the inside http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic1907.html
When I bought mine I had allready read so much on this forum that I knew at least as much as the dealer about the car operation. He was useless he did not even know that the cd-radio was with MP3 and not front loading CD-changer.
Anyway buyimg a car is similar to going on holidays. As soon as you leave you remmember that you forgot something. If it's a non life thretening item you relax. Same with a car. You discover a minor thing and then relax. Mind you I am still looking for the fault in mine. (Hope the next owner will let me know what it was after I sell it in a couple of years)

Thanks for so many replies.

Here is a compiled list

Possible sunroof fix
Software upgrades (not sure how to check this?)
DVLA log book says 5 seats
Dings/Dents
Front Tow Hook Cover installed
Check Service Log Book
Setup Bluetooth on Phone
Sat Nav instructions
Tyre Pressure
Alloy scrapes or curbing
Fuel and all liquids are full
Number plates match tax disc and insurance docs
Seat & Mirror movements
Check all options are actually there
Two Keys
Audio out of all speakers
Interior fittings, clean and secure
Proper Spare if ordered.
Grumble about handing so much money over to a dealer
Enjoy driving it!

Hopefully mine will be ready in a day or so now.
