OK, this is a rant .. but hey
Took FL2 ti Lancaster's in Thatcham so you know.
1) SRS red light on . Technicans report is that it has been reset . Nothing done to fix it, just reset the indication, bring it back if it happens again. How re-assuring knowing the indicator will come back on just before you need the air bags for real!
2) Wing mirror intermittantly 'graunching' on auto fold. This is a common problem according to this forum , but hey they just report No Trouble Found ... WELL OF COURSE NOT IT"S intermittant. Anybody know what lubrication works?
3)Tailgate Handle moves when opening .. technican reports they all do that .. Well mine didn't when it was new

I am so pleased to see they are living down to their reputation .. Completely different from the service I got at Charles Hurst at Park Royal ... looks like a trip back to London.

My drivers wing mirror was doing the same as yours. Took it back to the dealer and they fixed it by taking it apart and re-greasing the mechanism inside. Could always try a squirt of WD40 to see if that helps. ______________________

WD40 dries out over time. Try a teflon spray, plentry on the market, like "Weldtite TF2" or a PTFE spay like GT85

Try 3 in 1 White lithium grease, its a penetranting spray that sets like dry toothpaste into a weather proof lithium grease, so it should get to the source of the problem and fix it for a good length of time, and you can get it from halfrauds

So after a trip to Birmingahm , I have discovered what Lancaster's did to the SRS .. now my guess is that there was a S/W update done (since I'd lost the Radio Station settings and the trips had been zero'd). The update removed the permanent latch up of the red SRS fault dashboard display. Now you can reset it by turning the ignition off & on . So surprise surprise , if you don't fix a fault it doesn't go away no matter how much you wish for it to.

So now for a very sic joke.
Q: What's the last thing a FL2 driver sees
A: The Red SRS fault light as his head smashes through the dash
