Width of Land Rover Roof Cross Bars

I'm looking at mounting a roof box on to genuine Land Rover roof cross bars and I need to know the width of the actual cross bars (front to back, not the distance between the roof rails) to get the right mounting kit for the roof box, has anyone got a set installed they could please check for me, I haven't got the cross bars here to measure? I'm guessing 70-80mm but thats just a guess!

75-80mm mine measures

75mm if looking at them, but 80 if you measure it and follow the contour Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The bars can be fitted at almost any point along the length of the roof rails to accommodate most roof boxes. garioch43

Do these roof bars have a t-track groove on the top of them? Or do you have to U clamp to them?
Thanks

Yes they have a T-Track groove, you remove the rubber trim and slide in the adaptors. Worked well with my roof box and looks neater than U clamps.
