Wireless Rear View Camera

Hi All

Has anyone looked into these?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WIRELESS-REVERSE...3a73d68be9

I have a MY13 GS so guess would need some sort of screen as well the st head unit I think is just a LCD unit

Just seemed a cheap easy method...but is there a reason why these are so cheap Smile

My company had one fitted to my Mercedes Unimog, it is pretty useless, signal keeps breaking up, it's better than nothing, but only just. the Mog is twice the length of a FL2 so the problem may not exist in a smaller vehicle. One amusing side effect is that the receiver picks up CCTV and other wireless TV transmissions, so, on a trip through town you get a series of back yards and snowy films on the screen. We are waiting for the installers to try an improved aerial, but I am not living in hope. Hard wired systems on other company vehicles are excellent, particularly in low light, it's like having a searchlight on the back of the vehicle.

Hotglove has covered most points, signal usually goes when you need it most, hard wired takes longer to fit, but works everytime Thumbs Up p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
