United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
For Sale: Tonga Green Freelander 2 TD4S 2007 "57"

Dark Metallic Green, 2 Owners from new
48000 Miles
Full Main Dealer Service History (serviced at the end of May 2013)
11 Months MOT with no advisories and 11 Months Tax

I am looking for 8950 OVNO (I was offered 8000 in px by a main dealer Shocked which was a tad cheeky given they had one up at just over 11k with higher miles ). I have owned the Freelander for 2 years and it has been totally reliable. It has 4 good tyres with more than 6mm tread on each and a full size spare. There is the odd stone chip and supermarket scrape to the paintwork but nothing that would put me off buying it. The car is located in Ticknall, Derby. I live on the edge of the National Trust Calke Park Estate so worth a trip to visit Calke Park alone. Feel free to PM me if you are interested.

Hi. Thanks for the price feedback-I wasn't sure what people are prepared to pay privately. I've followed a few on ebay to get an idea but they tend to be much higher mileage and most people don't auction. Useful to know I'm not too high-dealers are taking the micky with trade in prices at the moment.

Hi
I'm interloping a bit from the disco3 website, what you are selling sounds like what I am looking for, do you have any pictures? The bad news is that I have to sell a 110 first, but hopefully that would not be too difficult.

This may be a silly question, is it 4X4 with terrain response, I know some of the new ones are 2wd, which is of no use to me. Another one that is on sale here has no terrain response dial, does that mean that it is 2wd?

Thanks

Craig

as they say above the terrain response is not on the entry "S" version, but those that have driven them say that it copes very well.

I read the other day that someone was asking regarding retro fitting the dial, but not sure if that was possible myself Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Photos

I've popped the Freelander on ebay now so if anyone else would like to see photos they can be seen there. Many thanks to the other members who helped out with the terrain response query.

Hi Matt,
If I get the Defender sold in time I'll give you a shout, in the meanwhile good luck with the sale. At that price don't let any body drive you down!

Having driven a Freelander 2 around a LR Experience site with Terrain Response off, I can vouch that it is still a highly capable offroader, just needs a little more driver input than you would do with Terrain Response available.
