Pinky, if your using Shell V power I'm sure that will help, but I would still give it a good blast before the test just to make sure the crap is blown out. ( I would have done that, but the guy said he could do the MOT right away, so I didn't have a chance !! )

this is my first car that i have ever had a MOT on, normally don't keep them this long and this one is up for its second test now

Don't worry about it Pinks, I'm sure you're not abusive with it! Makes you wonder how some of the sheds on the road that get passed do pass the test!

yes I did notice my car was idling all the time, ( while he was looking at other bits ) and thought about saying to him to turn it off, but didn't want to upset him !!

Mine is due tomorrow and this afternoon the tailgate switch has started to play up. The tailgate is now unlatching when unlocked. Possible MOT failue?

I believe the free retest is only if it doesn't leave the test station... 2002 Honda VFR800

There's many items that qualify for a free retest if returned within 1 working day.
