Tempted away.....

Well, I've been tempted away from the Freelander. I happened to see a fully loaded L322 FFRR Vogue SE at my friendly LR dealer yesterday. 10 plate with about 35K miles, all the car I could ever want. £20K p/x on the Freelander so £19K to fund - which I'm lucky enough to have. All done within an hour! So from next Saturday I'm driving a FFRR, Buckingham Blue, with Ivory semi aniline leather and a box full of toys. Even Mrs S was happy with my choice.

Over the to the FFRR site from now on, so thanks all for the odd tips I've picked up along the way.

Cheers

Andy

That's my ultimate motor. Now that the new ones out there's a few good full fats to be had.

I can't describe how jealous I am. I missed my chance, was looking at a 09 reg 3.6 TDV8 vogue SE, all the bells and whistles for £32k, well just under but choose the Fl2 as my Evoque replacement.

What I would say is my Fl2 feels more like a Range Rover than my Evoque.

There is nothing like sitting behind the wheel of a proper Range Rover, Enjoy it. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Thanks Guys. Look out for a rather nice 2011 Freelander 2 HSE SD4, Galway Green with Almond Windsor Leather, side steps, roof bars, side mouldings, chrome kick plates, 23000 miles.

It will appear on Harwoods Used Car list some time next week. A lovely car for someone - they might even leave the Swiss motorway vignette on it, so a bonus for anyone wanting to go on an Alpine adventure this summer!

Just a follow up visit. the FFRR is a joy, V8 burbles away and getting 25 mpg av. only 9 mpg worse than the Freelander. Talking of which, that car was sold almost immediately I p/x'd. I saw it today at the dealers whilst I was giving in the V5 (I had to sort out my plate transfer so couldn't just hand it over at the time). It was all buffed up and looking smart, with privacy coating on the rear windows (I didn't have that). Whoever has just bought KE11 NSU has a cracking car - Galway Green SD4 HSE with lux leather and all the bits and bobs (I went a bit mad on the original spec!) Look out for it on here and make them welcome if they're not already members!

Did you really have to come back and tell us how wonderful the V8 sounds Laughing

It is the best sounding Diesel engine by far. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
