I have got the 18" sparkles with Wintrac 4's for winter and recently bought 4 brand new 18" evoque alloys with brand new Pirelli verde's for £560 off fleabay for the summer. Seeing as the wintracs alone cost me £680 the evoque wheels were a bargain.
As to looks, I must admit the sparkles have the edge and are easier to clean. Somehow they look a bit bigger and chunkier despite being the same size.

They look nice. Cool I prefer the HSE alloys though. I went for 19" turbine effect alloys for a change, (have a look in my gallery if your interested.) I really like them, but they are a bit difficult to clean.

I have just fitted a set of Evoke 18” to mine, my original 17” needing tyres shortly (30k miles), so after looking at prices I was amazed to pick up a brand new set of Evoke wheels with Pirelli Scorpion tyres from a Land Rover Main Dealer for £550. I couldn’t buy the tyres all inc for less than £154.00 apiece. So I’m more than pleased with the cost & they look ok also a size bigger, I agree they look difficult to clean but a detailing brush should help with that. I also looked at the 19” option but after having 45 & 55 series tyres on previous cars & having the alloys scarred by visits in the numerous potholes we have around here, I decided that 18” & 60 series being the best choice for me. Anyone interested in a set of 17” ???????

2013 LR2 TD4 HSE Manual Fuji White

So it seems quite a few of us have just bought new wheels instead of getting new tyres.
Any ideas how much original XS 17" alloys would sell for anyone?

Worried the market must be flooded with used Land Rover wheels...

Lurcher
not very good with dropping photos in but these are the wheels as originally fitted if you can see them.

Just bought a set of the evoque Style 2 with virtually new tyres on and intend to put the tyres on my 18" HSE wheels prior to winter and put some winter tyres on the style 2's What are the Wintracs like on the motorway when it nots snowing?
