England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black
Cracked Wingmirror

Hi All,

I recently had a ‘run in’ with a tree and sadly my passenger side wing mirror came off second best Crying or Very sad

All seems to be working fine, just the plastic cover is damaged. Rather then buy a new one, does anyone know if a new cover can be bought, or am I going to have to fork out for a whole new unit?

Thanks in advance

Not usually possible to buy the cover on its own.

Try Dan at Duckworth Parts. He was doing a good deal on passenger door mirrors.

you can't get a replacement standard anthracite black cover like the above picture,
would have to go chrome, colour coded or primed. Sophie Alltoft

Thanks for the replies.

Thanks,

Go for coloured ones, they look much better than the standard black ones IMO. Thumbs Up

Taz, MY10, the mirrors changed, Pre MY10 the mirror backs, you had to fit covers over, from MY10 the mirror backs changed and could be swapped, clipped in place, but covers no longer fit. That's when the mirror became slightly larger and the visor on the mirror changed shape. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Got mine for about £50 from Dan and fitted it myself.
Instructions for fitting a new mirror can be found here:
