Clarification required methinks....... Judging by your profile pics, you have a few for sale......Disco 4's too! Kola is the big solid black German Shepherd, Dobbie is.......a breed you've never heard of......yet;)

It looks like the pictures were taken in the dealership.

What about an eD4? They can do good mpg.

Trouble is there is a MY13 LE at my dealership. Can't see me coming away with an eD4  MY11 Freelander 2 Sport LE Fuji White

Having had an eD4 for a couple of weeks I can confirm the economy is astounding & drives exceeding well
The back end felt solid on the road, the only time you new it was 2WD was if you pulled away sharply there would be slight scrabble of the front wheels but no more than any other 2WD.

it had only done about 2000 miles so wasn't loosened up but still average 50.8mpg over a 348.6 mile trip in one day with an average speed of 53.5mph
It was a regular weekend trip to visit an elderly relative in Sussex from the west country so mixed roads

I have to say I was impressed & if I didn't tow I would consider but would leave it in the garage if it snowed !

Enjoy the merc I had C250 cdi for three plus years, it was a great car totally reliable over 80k miles,only replaced one brake bulb, but economical 50mpg and quick, however absolutely useless on snow and not good on wet grass, even worse than the BMW before it, hence the reason for buying a Freelander which i am currently getting an average of just over 40mpg on it first 4700 miles which is not bad for a 4x4
