I've had the privilege to go along to (not at my own expense) LRE at Rockingham (twice) and Solihull and driven FL2, D4 and Defender 110. LRE is a fantastic learning opportunity!

I did Luton a while back in a Discovery 4 and had a whale of a time! After a lovely on-road section the off-road was even more fun. One thing will always remember is guys from the Forestry Commission training in a Defender and getting stuck in the wooded section. Newbies eh? Tsk Have fun! |

Did they take to a ford by the mill in Redbourne? There is a baker there who was on the first series of the Great British Bake Off who does amazing puds! |

Met someone recently who'd been given 3 vouchers by his Dealer. Did the first one at Luton, second one at Rockingham and is now going to book his third one at Rockingham. |

I wouldn't take my Freelander through that one with the river Ver as deep as it is now. 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green Gone: 2018 L550, TD4 SE Tech Auto, Carpathian Grey Gone: Defender 90 200Tdi, Grey Raptor Gone: 2012 FL2, TD4 GS Manual, Santorini Black |

I had the change to go to the land rover experience @ Peckforton castle in Cheshire, I have ot say that we had a fantastic time, it was well organized and well worth blagging the complimentary voucher from Stratstone, we drove the freelander 2 so as to gain knowledge of the cars capability, it exceeded all of our expectations.

I've recently received a freeby LRE voucher and was wondering whether any of the centres are considered 'better' than others.

I would have liked some wading "instruction" but I suspect that's something they save for the specialist training sessions which they can charge for. It would have been useful preparation for the ford I encountered last Saturday. 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green

I can only recommend Peckforton, because it's the only one i've been on, however, i did get the impression that if you're on a dealer voucher you don't quite get as much variation as when you pay and there is a sliding scale.
