I have been using triplewax waterless spray and it seems to be quite good can do the whole car in less than 15 mins.」4.99 a litre from Morrisons.

I would never touch it. No matter how good they say the lubricants are in it, it cannot avoid swirl marks in the paint. I know someone who used this system for about.6 months, and his paint looked terrible. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Greased Lightening showroom shine has been discussed before and even then they all seem to wash their cars prior to using it, which shows they dont trust the claims (great on a caravan though)

2 buckets and a wash mitt, 30 minutes and a dry is much safer Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Know what you mean, they say the dirt and grit floats off the paint without scratching, but it can hardly float once its in the rag can it?, I dont trust it either.

I washed my one the other day using only bilt hamber auto QD, the car was only lightly soiled but it cleaned it without leaving a mark on the paint, the car looks and feels good, I'm now a convert to the waterless wash. I will post a picture tomorrow. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

No no no. Sorry, just cannot agree with it on principle. I used another load of GL this afternoon, but only after I had washed my car and dried it thoroughly. I'm never going to buy into the idea that it can lift grit/pollen/traffic film etc without being washed off first, and no amount of reviews and advertising will convince me otherwise. If you value your paintwork, hose the damn thing down first at the very least! Foraging near Gaydon....

The trouble is some leave it to dry, that's when the problems arise with sctratching. Just spray on wipe with light pressure and buff with a clean microfibre.

Granted, I wouldn't use it for heavy road grime, but it does the job perfectly for dusty paintwork.

If at any point I see it starting to cause problems then I will revert back to traditional methods. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Sorry but there is absolutely no way it can clean the car without causing swirls. Where does all the grit go, magically dissapear? 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE

This is not a method i would use all the time, the car gets washed the traditional way and I have my polishes and carnauba waxes for those full scale cleans but I trust it enough to clean the light coating of dust off the car during the summer months.

No way would I use it on mud or thick road grime. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
