Well the Vredestiens are now off, normal tyres back on. Told the tyre fitters I'll be back at the end of July to get them put back on, as it will will be winter again. |

I've run my Vreddies well into spring....can't see an issue using them in summer...other than they are a bit noisier than me normal M&S tyres that are now back on

Mine have been good since I put them on. Only swapped them around because the dealer put budget tyres on when I bought it, so want to wear them out so i can bin them and get some decent rubber for the month or so that isn't freezing. Please don't ask what they are, I'm extremely embarrassed

Only do sub 8k miles per year, I thought of having two sets, but to be honest I'm not sure I can be bothered. That and I'd have no where to store a second set! Andy. |

I have 2 sets - GY Wrangler M&S & Avon Ranger Ice. I kept the Avons on until mid April. Now on GYs - noticeable harder ride, bump thump etc. The Avons were so smooth by comparison and are still at about 8mm after 2 winters (about 9,000 miles). I keep them on a spare set of rims in the shed. Looking forward to winter & returning to the Avons. Faultless in snow & ice. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

We still have quite a few customers running the Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme all year with no problem but if you want the best value out of them change to summer/all weather tyres for the warmer months. Andy.

No longer have any, but if I do get some this year, as above, wouldn't bother till November.
