Recently did a trip to South West Cornwall (awesome 5hr trip in the FL2) and noticed there seemed to be a greater proportion of freelanders to range rovers compared to where I live (Surrey).

Around me in Surrey I'd say there are at least as many range rovers as freelander, probably more.

Not exactly a revelation given the the prosperity of the two areas but interesting to me never-the-less.

I also live in Surrey. There are many LRs especially the Disco 4, RR, RRS and FL2. LR have become popular. I used to see more Range Rovers than Freelanders, but now I live in a more rural part of Surrey, I've noticed a lot more Freelanders. I've started to see an FL2 every 1-2 minutes! But when you go to Weybridge, Range Rovers are more common than the Ford Focus!

Down here in the far south west Carrs Land Rover in Truro do a good job selling the Freelander. When we were looking round prior to buying they told us that two winters ago, in one of the very rare snowy spells we get down here, they were all using Freelanders in preference to anything else! Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

Here in the Lincolnshire outback, I'd say Disco's reign (3's more common than 4's), and only farmers can afford RR's

Don't see too many Freelander's, but that's fine, nice to be exclusive! Kola is the big solid black German Shepherd, Dobbie is.......a breed you've never heard of......yet;)

We are holidaying in North Yorkshire and I've never seen so many FL2s

I saw an Overfinch on A609 Ilkeston/Nottingham yesterday  10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

One thing I've noticed, Monday to Friday if you see a caravan there is high probability that a Freelander 2 is pulling it. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Aberdeen area - tons of FL2s up here, and RRs. Most of them probably not used for the intended purpose, more of a lifestyle choice, although further west towards the hills they do beome a sensible option in winter.

Here in the North Pennines (Tyne Valley and south to Weardale) there are lots of FL2s but relatively few of anything else except Defenders (usually old-ish). A few Evoques are starting to appear here and there, but few RRs or RRSs. The odd Discovery, but not many. FL2 rules in this area. Unfortunately, though, Japanere 4x4s and pick-ups rule even more!

Here in Warwickshire they are two a penny (naturally)  Foraging near Gaydon....

Well that just shows the intelligence of the owners, they probably tell everyone its 24 carrots too.

We travel between Sussex & Leicestershire. LR are pretty well represented in both counties including lots of FL's.
I've noticed that FL's are pretty common all over the UK now & also that they almost disappear when in Europe.

From what I have seen around my area we have almost equal amounts of Freelanders and Discos, but Evoques are becoming quite a common sight now. Joanne
