front foglight plastic housing - facelift model

Hi,

I need to change my front facelift bumper as its been damaged. I've found a replacement but the fog light housing are not attached. Can I remove the ones on my damaged bumper and fix them onto my replacement bumper, therefore enabling me to fix the fog lights in place c/w with the bezels.

If anyone could please let me know

Many thanks

Neil.

Mine got damaged by a neighbour - silly old duffer shouldn't be driving, but thats another line altogether.

He managed to shoved one in, they have tabs that are melted over (plastic welding?), if there is enough tab left it is a simple job to secure them using a soldering iron. Failing that rough up the inside and attach using silicon sealant or preferably sikaflex. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Hope this helps you Neil
Just 4 plastic heat clips to remove from your old housings - if your new bumper doesn't have fog housings the clips should be in place ready to fit back the ones you remove just need to melt them down holding the housing in place

Be aware that they are not designed to be removed. Ensure you have the full unused plastic 'tabs' on your replacement bumper so that you can melt the housings back in place again. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather.
