We've stuck with the Caravan Club's own "5Cs" policy for years now, as it seems to give us all the aspects of cover we want. Must admit, though, I've not shopped around too much on price. They were very good at handling our one major claim to date a few years back and that does tend to sway me with insurance. If you know that you get what you pay for when it's needed then it's a big plus point for me. We stay with LV= for the four motor vehicles for much the same reason. Caravan club is one of the better ones, but check out the new for old, I think it only works for vans that are no more than 4 or 5 years old but they don't tell you that. |

"Old for New" should be dirt cheap - it's "New for Old" that costs the money! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Caravan Guard, Yorkshire based, always cheaper than the CC when I've checked and don't mess around at claim time. Our van disappeared in the night a few years back on a New for Old policy, a brand new van was on the drive in ten days, it would have been quicker had we not delayed them.
