Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Caspian Blue
rear wiper stopped!

my rear wiper has been getting slower (after the snow) and now went half way round and stopped working! Checked the fuse its ok so is it a new motor needed? anyone else had this problem and any idea of cost to remedy? Cheers KRG

Yep had this happen to me but lucky enough it went just before handover so dealer stuck a new one in Thumbs Up
Prices range from £20 all the way up to £147 for the motor
A doddle to do your self, remove 3 bolts, unclip wire, fit new one on Wink

if it has stopped in any position other than its normal resting place could be a good idea to pull the fuse -- there has been instances of fire in a rear wiper motors
