My FL2

Just the one picture at the moment... Today I fitted the black side vents and clear repeaters. Just the facelift left to do once funds allow. 2007 HSE, 70k miles and needing a wash...

It looks great. Cool I would recommend getting some body side mouldings though, they will help protect your doors from getting dinged. Enjoy your FL2. Thumbs Up

Cheers.
I'm not a big fan of the side mouldings... I guess they are a marmite thing, a bit like the extra lamps I have on the front 😃.
They are great and the extra light at night is spot on... They are just a little ugly.

Npinks, you haven't had any dings yet? Shocked I'm on my third one dent in the passenger door in 10 months of ownership! I've also had a large dent on the drivers side and now I have a deep scratch on the rear bumper! I'm going to get anything that will help protect my FL2. Thumbs Up

I find keeping my missus away from the wheel helps with dings - that and kerbing my alloys .... shudder .... /experience.

Re the fog light things - personally I quite like them.... sort of a bit FL1 retro....

I feel you pain.... I really do.... ( although kerbing a FL2 is a feat in its self... )

My wife managed to curb mine... She went through a width restriction that had those big truck curbs that flick out over themselves. At the same time she managed to knock off my n/s sidestep :-/ she sheered the rivets that hold the step on to the locating prongs.... It took some tiger seal, drilling and some self tapping bolts to fix it Rolling Eyes

Her in doors recons I'm been mean but its a) past experience and b) I'd rather not sit there resenting the fact something had happerned to my car by some one else.....

She has her own ( and its newer) so I don't feel bad...

Normally she drives hers (Mini Cooper S) however they are terrible in the poor weather. So if she has to go out I feel a little happier knowing she is in the FL2.
She doesn't borrow it often... Thankfully 😃 otherwise I'm not sure there would be much left....
