Faulty sat nav

I went to use the sat nav yesterday and it would not go on the navigation there was the bleep as I touched the screen and nothing happened but it would go to settings I tried 20 or 30 times to the point that 32g of Eleys finest seemed like the best cure it did work eventually and continued to do so for the rest of the day anyone got any ideas.

Best course of action, switch off, take key out, reinsert key, switch on and 90% of the time the problem will disappear
