Got one

Hello all.
Picked up my FL2 on Friday. Silver SE 8 months old with 4000 on clock.
Looks and drives like new.

As they say in McDonalds "I'm lovin it!" Very Happy

Then a Citylink driver drops something at my house yesterday.
Leaning on the front door he looks at the car and says "yeah I used to work for Land Rover, course the problem with these is they leak from the front of the sunroof".....

Eh? Anyone had any issues?

Read the other post after I had replied to this one Embarassed

Certainly changed then since I bought mine 10 months ago......I wonder how they will be for servicing, might give them and Perth a call to see who offers the best deal.

Having read you other post I might use Perth when the time comes to change it as well. ______________________

Perth tend to be cheaper than Aberdeen, which is fine as long as you are not trading another car in.
At one point in TnC I asked the guy to meet me halfway to which he replied "Oh come on it's only 350 quid". He then looked shocked when I said "well you pay it then!"

I have just had 4 weeks of looking at various cars in various showrooms, and having to watch the pitiful sight of poor salesmen wringing their hands, looking wistfully at the ground and muttering "Yeah you see the margins ain't what they were years ago", whilst glancing at pictures of their families on their desks as if I was stealing their childrens inheritance.
I was on the verge of walking out of Perth before I got a reasonable deal though.

Traded my 47 mpg saloon in for a FL2 and now it looks like we won't have any fuel due to panic buying in the North with Grangemouth shutting down. Big Cry

Just have to get the missus to push me around........

Panic buying! Today in Stirling the Borestone Shell had only Diesel left and it was £1.169 ppl so I filled up with 80 litres, drove home and left the Sport there and collected the 90 and drove through to Glasgow for a doctor's appointment and there were queues at all the filling stations going down through Milngavie to the Tunnel and at one of the BP stations there was a queue on the street for Diesel at £1.249ppl but just down the road there is an Esso at kessington at £1.179ppl and opposite Morrsions at Anniesland the Shell place was selling diesel at £1.159ppl - the folks filling up in Milngavie must have felt real sick when they drove a mile down the road and found diesel at 10ppl cheaper...................... and no queuing! So I took the opportunity to put 55 litres of the smelly stuff into the Defender at £1.159ppl while I was there. When I filled up at Stirling there was a woman in an old Nissan 4x4 who filled up 4 x 25litre steel jerrycans as well as her car's tank - it's stupid idiots like her who cause the shortages when infact the suppliers reckon there won't be any shortage if folks are sensible and fill up normally and don't panic buy. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

It's about their final salary pension scheme or something.

Yeah panic buying is crap. Human nature I spose. If only everyone could carry on the way they normally do we would all be fine. They will be limiting it to 20 quid per car soon. Punch ups on the forecourts. They had security guards on one forecourt in Aberdeenshire I saw on the news.

It's the crappy filling stations putting their prices up I think is crap

The Union has alleged that the company has taken £40million out of the pension fund to help pay for "upgrades" to the refinery ........................ I thought that after Maxwell that sort of thing couldn't be done any more, but Unite, the union reckon that is what the bosses have done. They are all sitting in London having warm beer and sarnies at ACAS now and chatting it over. In the meantime the refinery owners (BP but not BP if you get my drift!) started to close the refinery down on safety grounds last weekend which menas that the largest supplier of fuel in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England is closed for business. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
