Thule Aerobars
Anyone have a Thule roof bar set with the silver Aerobar as opposed to the standard black rectangular box section bar?
I’ve been using the standard box section bar for a number of years on my FL2 but I find the noise at anything above 35mph horrendous. Actually seems quieter when I fit the bike carriers, roof box etc.
Are the Aerobars actually any quieter and are they worth the extra cash?

I've had both and the aero bars are definately quieter. If you sit them on rails they are quieter again. I can't hear mine at all anymore.

Same here - Aero bars are very quiet even on the motorway with a narrow Thule roof box.

I don't have the thule bars but the whispbars I bought which were suppose to be the quietest are certainly not - very annoying whine from them which means I will have to remove them when not in use.
