Just been to the local ATS as I was looking at if they did Aircon refills and noticed they have Nitrogen for £1.25 per tyre. I know why when it comes to racing this is useful ( ie deforms less at high speed ) but I was wondering what it may do for the FL2.... I was thinking may be helpful on the bends ?

It was discussed quite recently - a search should find the thread.

cant really believe it makes much difference on a FL2 but Costco do it included in fitting price and when they have their 20% discount I struggle to find cheaper for tyres and fitting. |

I always use a mixture of gases when I top up my tyres. I find that 79% nitrogen goes well with 20% oxygen and a trace of carbon dioxide and other stuff. My local garage does it fairly cheaply or I've got a special device in the garage at home that I use for inflating smaller tyres. Using that means the gas is effectively free.
