Rear Wiper problem

Hi, my rear wiper has decided to stop working and came to rest about 3/4 through its wipe cycle. With a bit of help it will then properly but another attempt it does the same again.
Any ideas? Wiper relay or wiper motor? Thanks

Better safe than sorry, if it has stopped in any position other than its normal resting place, pull the fuse or disconnect the wiring, there has been an instance of one catching fire. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Nothing worse than a faulty washwipe, as AD says though, there has been an instance of fire in a rear motor.

Hope you did not do what my wife did (not on FL2) switched on the rear wiper when it was frozen solid to the glass and left it.
Next time I tried to use it , it would never stop at the right place, it had burnt the commutator which left it missing its stop point, due to the burnt spot Big Cry

Just a thought Whistle

I've read on here but can't find it, but someone in the know posted that the rear wiper failures seemed to come from owners that were pressure washing around the seal and that a new design seal has been brought out. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
