Commercial Rear Window

Hi Guys, just bought a used commercial LR2 and it's a very nice car to drive - let's say it's a slight improvemnt over my Series 2a and 3! Very Happy

The dealer said that the rear windows can be made to be operational. I understand there is a software upgrade to do this? Is this software available cvommercially or do I have to...... Wink Wink ?

Don't believe that it's a config/software change, it'll be wiring or missing motors etc.

Thanks to all - apparently ( and I'm quoting some other forums here) all the wiring is in place and just needs an upgrade via the diagnostic thingy. I suppose we'll now if the wiring motor are there whern we check it out....

One other question re commercials - have they ever been produced by Land Rover with folding rear seats. I've seen some UK adverts selling commercial LR2 'with rear seats'.

Can someone shed some light on this please?

i understand to be commercial in the UK, they can not have rear seats fitted, they are removed (or not fitted) and the area has a flat floor in its place, i think with a locker below

there are tax/vat incentives due to been only 2 seats Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

All the motors and electrics are there. Its definitely a matter of reprogramming. Will be trying to do it next week if my mechanic can get his computer to find the 'key'
