It was through a colleague of a friend so possibly a bit cheaper than normal. One of the online advertisers on ebay who advertised a spraying service quoted me £122 on top of the price of the spoiler with a six-week turnaround! I dropped mine off one evening and picked it up the next. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

So, Smudger53 took 10 minutes, mine took 5 minutes and ol' speedy Mudslinger did it in 3! Anyone beat that? |

vanners back up and connect their spoiler to the towbar in between 1 and 10 minutes depending on the reversing skills of the vanner in question.

Not seen them before but I'd have thought 3M double sided mounting tape would do the trick. It's stickier than a sticky thing!

cool i'll have to have a hunt about ...i know that it is fairly important to keep the spoiler in place along with the mounting brackets ..... land rover said you can buy replacement brackets ,but not the mounting pads ..... slightly strange ...i thought it would have been part of a mounting kit .... ![]() ![]() |

Automotive trim tape is available on different widths from any professional car paint supplier. I needed to use two thicknesses on my genuine LR spoiler. Make sure that you buff up with T-cut the attachment areas of the tailgate to clean and degrease. Degrease the spoiler recesses with brake aerosol cleaner or meths.

Thanks guys for the tips and heads up ...i have found some tape 1mm thick and it's not wide enough ,so will need some fettling ....i will use the masking tape to line it up before fitting ,but now looking at the paint job on it it may be worth a quick blow over and get the body shop to wack it on |
