I have joined a local company as a partner, nothing too grand or anything but we currently have 4 vehicles, the only non director using a fuel card would be an engineer, a young lad.

We've looked at it, a couple of quid per month per card,a couple of pence per litre off, if you are staying local and use the same forecourts it might be of use, we looked but if you travel all over you can waste time looking for a forecourt that will accept your particular card. We have used a company BC for many years now, that way you can choose the forecourt you want and can buy whatever you want, be it Hotels, fuel, Parts, food. Many of the fuel card companies offer you a discount just to get you to sign up, but the cost per litre starts to rise and you end up paying forecourt price. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

We looked at these a few months ago, was looking at the BP Bunker cards as they offered the best rates an fuel on major routes but it came to nothing in the end, no minimum spend, £10 per card per year iirc, no posh diesel on them though. Most fuel card companies will bill you fortnightly also.

I simply use a capital one cashback credit card with copy cards for Mrs G and my dad. but I can get all the cashback nobody to share it with, your case would be more complex I guess.

Key Fuels are great if you are virtual bunkering a big fleet, buy your fuel up front at a discount rate in 50,000 litre lots then draw it wherever your trucks are running. As far as fuel cards for 4 cars, easier and more flexible to issue a company credit card, I'll guarantee that if you have a fuel card of any type one day you will find that you are on empty and the nearest station does not take your brand of card, or the station that does is an HGV bunker. Also consider if you are taking or offering the ful card as part of remuneration that the break even point is getting higher every year, I've just dobbed mine in as the tax payable will cover 13500 private miles 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

i think you'd be better off using a cash back credit card tbh When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

I use a Tesco clubcard credit card so I get shell points and clubcard points, surprising how it mounts up.
