Belgium (South) DPF replacement.  Looking for an independent

Belgium (South) DPF replacement.  Looking for an independent mechanic or garage!

Last year I took the car in for a service 3rd year and within a month the air con packed up and the  Condenser needed replacing due to a leak.

This year, last Monday in fact, took the car for its 4th year service (both services Land Rover Namur), the car was not used after driving 20km home until Wednesday, a short trip of 15km at an average speed of 60kmh, then the message a DFP Full Visit Dealer.

I might be well wrong, but something inside me makes me think these faults have been created by the LR Dealer to win repeat work.  Or could it just be a coincidence???

Does anyone know of an independent garage around the Namur area?  Also, does anyone know how to take the car out of limp mode as i do not have enough power to pull out my drive?

Many thanks,
Lukeyluke

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

Hi, when a DPF is too full and unable to be regenerated they can be cleaned. There are truck specialist centres that have dpf cleaning services and in the UK we have specialist cleaning centres now for DPFs.

If its less than 75% they can normally be forced into a regen but if driven too long they just soot u p and won't regen.

Many times I have removed them and just jet washed out by back flushing. Good luck

After you get out your car of the limp mode ask your dealer to install Q212 update for ECU. Good luck!
