Tailgate handle/switch seems to have failed on my FL2. The boot can still be opened from the key fob and car is happy that the boot is open or closed, as appropriate, but when using the handle the boot doesn't release.

Not sure as it's relevant, but we did have to "repair" the rear windscreen wiper motor a few months ago, as it does suffer from a leaky rear windscreen.

Any suggestions for a fix / likely area of the problem for the tailgate please?
