She's warming to Stornoway Grey as she followed a black Range Rover today and said that even though it was an '08 plate, it looked terrible when dirty.....I'd call that a result!

I still like that 'orange' colour but apparently it never caught on, although wife said she'd divorce me if I got one in that colour.

Wonder if they'd do me a one off.....

the orange colour (Tambora Flame) was a limited edtion colour for the launch of the FL2

If your wanting any add on's for the car, i suggest you have a good look on eBay, contact the site sponsers charles hurst LR, or nick @ Yeovil LR where you should be able to get descent discounts Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

'If I'm wanting any add ons'....I've already bowed to the peer pressure on here and decided I need those clear side repeaters. I have to admit to being gobsmacked at the enthusiasm that everyone seems to have. It was never like this with the Audi!

I read a post from someone who uploaded a picture on the day he took delivery and had already changed them....now that is devotion to the cause!

It took me a while to change them

Kept thinking do I or Don't I, Kept looking at the car outside my office window and the orange kept peering back at me, and eventually i found myself pressing the Buy it now button. Rolling Eyes

A couple of weeks back we bought a car for mother in law from an independent dealer. Couldn't help but notice he had a Tambora FL2 on the lot, took a closer look it was an "i6" .... the guy said he'd had it for months and hadn't taken a single call about it ... can't think why !!!

Interesting what you say about the heated front screen. I've got a Ford Focus pool car with a heated screen and I hate looking through it - the only time there was any frost to try it out, I was too slow and it had melted!

I find the defrost programme on my GS without Heated screen has been pretty good in cold weather - no complaint!

I have had heated screens before and thought I would miss it but glad I saved the money Thumbs Up

She knows you're right.............as do most of us on here Laughing (Leave it CG...don't start! Very Happy )

The "Orange" (Tambora Flame) that the FL2 was launched with was too yellow in bright light for my liking I decided in the end and I prefered the Orange that was offered for the RRS........ come resale you are better with a standard (not boring) colour anyway.

Everyday I hop in my LR2 I smile, because it really is a fantastic vehicle, and like you was surprissed at it's handling, especially coming from 5 years of driving my A3.
