Assume you mean aftermarket original equipment LR ones?
Or some Chung Chang after market ones?

Are the LR mudflaps worth it? Some members have complained that they don't do anything and that they are a waste of money.

I'd say they are definitely worth it. Stops the muck / spray covering the bodywork. They make the Freelander look better in my opinion MY13 TD4 Black and White manual - Gone

Go to:
http://www.powerfuluk.com/products/land-ro...ear-).html

And yes you do have to do drilling/cutting on the front they are exactly the same to fit as the genuine LR so there is no getting away from drilling/cutting, unless you pay someone. The backs take 2 mins each.

They are great and mine even had a blanked out oval shape on the inside. Rolling Eyes

This link has all the info you need too with some fitted pics..

Hi,

Looks........Great

Effectiveness.................Terrible

They have so many 'nooks and cranies' (especially the fronts), Mud Traps would be a better description!

Paid £250 for dealer fit LR ones........thats 80+ Eastern European car washes! Kola is the big solid black German Shepherd, Dobbie is.......a breed you've never heard of......yet;)

I bought a set from ebay which were great then I changed my first freelander , so I took them off my first car then fitted then to my new car last year. When they were off I cleaned them and polished them with back to black they still look great. Thumbs Up 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

Gone and fondly remembered
