To those who have just clayed the car, would highly recommend getting hold of some Gtechniq C2V3 - it's a spray-on sealant which gives you a fantastically glossy finish with next to no effort... spray, wipe around with a microfibre cloth, buff straight off. Can probably coat a car from start to finish in about 15 minutes.

Looks good. I'm going to practice cleaning the car properly before trying all of this detailing stuff. |

Thanks for that! Everyone has been very helpful on the "tips on car cleaning thread" too. |

May sound silly to a few on here, but I thought seeing as the car came out so well with the clay I decided to do my house windows

Sounds like a good idea! But I would rather pay some Eastern Europeans to clean my windows for me. I just washed SWIMBOs A3 and I was quite impressed. I will get better. |

I tend to clay the car's glass before applying a sealant, but must admit have never tried the house windows...

Wow I'm stunned, that stuff is better than pretty much every household cleaner on the market. I'll have to buy some. Joanne

I'd be terrified of claying floor tiles, I know how glassy smooth it makes stuff. Would be sliding all over the place! |
