Here's a simple solution, Halfords Super Brilliance +50%. I had a dipped beam fail a few weeks ago, so went to Halfords for a replacement. They had standard bulbs at £15 a pair (not available singly) and a range of high performance bulbs. The Super Brilliance +50% were £19.95 each but buy one get one free. So for the extra £5 over standard bulbs I thought I'd give them a go. They are noticeably brighter and whiter than the standard bulbs worth a look at for an inexpensive upgrade

Hi! I am new in here. I have Freelander2 SE in Australia. I tried to replace xtra powered bulbs. they were not enough light. Yesterday, I replaced headlight units from halogen to LR2 none adaptive xenon headlight units.(Original LR2 xenon headlight units) It took me a few minutes to do so. It was very easy and very bright light. you can not compare with any xtra powered halogen bulb. |

Thank you npinks. We have almost same regulation like UK. It is not automatic self leveling. Manual leveling is ok. So there is no problems to install xenon. I can not find any super high quality bulbs here in Australia. I should live in UK, USA or Japan. There is nothing any good bulbs even on ebay here. |

You'll be very pleased with even the +50%. As I said I've done both dipped units on mine because one failed. What I really need to do is put my hand in my pocket and get another pair for the mains. |
