@ fredastaire. Here is the side grills in black TBH, they are just as is, they came as gloss black and paid about £25 for the pair in auction off the bay.

And for everyone else because this thread is about the replacement stickies, this iis them fitted. Quick clean with alcohol wipe, warmed up both hard badge and sticky badge with heat gun and the rest is history.

There OK, but I am not sure if I'll keep them on as I am not totally sure about stickers over the real badges.

Time will tell I suppose. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

They look ok, but I like my green and silver badges. They look better than the green and gold ones IMHO.

Any chance of a fitted photo, close up, showing the edges in focus, they look like they don't fully cover the whole badge Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Ok Guys,
Just joined the "Black/Chrome" Badge Club.
Looking forward to receiving them (should look a good contrast with Zermatt Silver)

Thanks rjw976 for posting the link to "DMB Graphics"
Looks like they have sold a few of these since you started this thread.

Cheers JC Thumbs Up

Just wondered, if they were black and chrome as standard would people be fitting green and gold overlays "as they look better" ??

Of course they/we would Thumbs Up
If the pre MY11 front bumper and the post MY11 was the other way around it would be deemed a better looking upgrade, just because it's different and also because it's newer.
Now't as strange as folk Confused and we love tinkering, have to admit I wouldn't bother with the badge colour change though.

managed to peel off the old badge on the boot and front grill ,so hopefully when my new black ones arrive the will sit nicely in the original badge recess.

Peter2704,
I would be really interested to see how you get on with the new badges,
Am still waiting for mine to be delivered and might try removing mine from the badge recess also
as they have all gone crinkley & rough, perhaps through age or water, was thinking i might get a better finish
doing it this way, rather than just applying over a couple of rough badges.

So yeah please post if you have success with this method...

Cheers JC.... Thumbs Up
