A couple of years ago, my Brother-in-Law and many others cycled from London to Paris to raise money for a charity his wife founded into research that caused the death of their daughter. www.port-charity.org.uk

They had photo's taken at the start at Marble Arch but when they got to the Arc de Triomphe, they got a big fat NON! from the French gendarmes when they wanted to get their picture taken at the end of their journey.
