The images have been loaded onto eBay servers, the original data has also been stripped out of the files, so no record of date taken, camera type etc exists.
My camera automatically adds embedded copyright info but this is easy to strip out and some sites do it automatically which is a pain.

If you use your own pictures on eBay put your name on them, not in the corner where it can be removed but as a watermark across the image.

Places like eBay sre rife with this sort of thing, cynical old me looks at it this way, if they cant be bothered to get the basic picture correct what will the rest of the transaction be like.
