I suppose it makes for an eye catching head line but in reality it isn't much of an offer. If its a top end car lets say it is all of £30k, then that represents a 7.5% discount. If you are buying a house around £400k, (and you are in a strong position with your finances) then I think you'd be looking to haggle somewhat more than £30k on the price .... Maybe I should re phrase that and say I know I would be haggling for more !! |
