The seller has ended the previous auction and edited the photo and added their name.

That photograph is your IP Valeter, I would definatly approach eBay with this and invoice them for the photo they have used, their address is on the posting.

The person has obviously twigged and is still attempting the sale with the photo altered which is no defence, it is still copyright theft, the fact they have done this is not helping their case.

It doesn't take much these days to take a photograph with camera or phone and the way he's gone about it tells me he is premature in selling these wheels as they are not available yet.

No doubt they will be but he is jumping the gun by using someone else's photo, bad way to to business. I also noticed he has edited the same photo but it's sharp practice and 'Valeter' should have a chat with eBay as it's open to abuse.

You can put in a fake high bid and if you dont pay Ebay wont do anything. My wife listed a ring a while back, a lady won the bid but wouldnt pay. As a seller you cant leave negative feed back as Ebay are frightend that people will not buy items on Ebay if they can be given negative feedback. The lady who did not pay for the ring (wife relisted it) had loads of positive feed back saying that she did not pay for items etc. I reported the lady to Ebay so I could claim back the listing fee's but as far as I know she is still winning bids and not paying for items.

Another Ebay scam you could do is to win the bid, pay by Paypal, collect in person and then put a claim into Paypal saying that you havent recieved the item. When I emailed him he said his wheels were probably in better condition than mine. In other words better than the wheels in the photo. So if that was the case he would be diddling himself lol.

I said to him that I doubt it as mine were removed by the dealer before I collected the car & delivered to me in their van.

I have just filed a report to Ebay. I still had the original listing which has the same photo so I sent the item number.

I sent him one and received a reply, I think others must have done too, he is trying to pull a fast one with the picture though, spamming his inbox may only give this site a bad name though.

It's up to The Valeter to sort things out now

I sent him a question asking for weight ratings and the tyres DOT details as I wouldn't want to buy a wheel that's not correctly weighted and a tyre that isn't new and near it's used by date

Told me it was due to adding 22" wheel when he gets his car next week, told Taz they are in storage

If he is getting it next week how come he knows what tyres it's coming with?
