2.2 diesel engine for 2010 type DW12BTED 4 for spares or repair
34,000 miles basic engine unit without ancilliaries. Has big end number 4 gone, crank marked. The car was being driven, the engine was running and oil light goes out as it should. I have not dismantled further than taking the sump off and no 4 big end cap, the rest of the engine is as built by the factory ie not disturbed. If its just number 4 then it probably needs metal spraying and a regrind. Price - open to offers over £600 as just the cyl head ought to be worth that! On another listing here I have a near new BIG turbo, injectors, HP fuel pump and more. Collect from Nr Belper close to M1 jnc 24 - 28.
PS I am looking for a 2011 facelift tailgate spoiler and rear boot handle and other upgrade bits so might take as px.
PS if you are in to engine changing with an Auto the engine comes out the top easily, see my post covering 'how to'; not sure but I think the manual should also conme out same way; much easier than taking the body off!

Ive sold my base engine via ebay and its gone to Lithuania, two guys picked it up and took it on the floor of an old Sprite caravan!!!, hope it didnt fall through!
Ive still got the SD4 turbo, SD4 EGR and other bits inc injectors and HP pump and vac pump available

Turbo gone to Sri Lanka, we should have a new member now over there with an SD4
I've still got injectors, manifold with pressure sensors, late version EGR and vac pump, they are ont other listing on the forum and priced.
