France 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Auto Stornoway Grey
freelander 2 MOST interface

Hi everyone.
I wanted to install an bluetooth module on my freelander 2011 model, but the MOST opstical interface is very dificult to connect (apparently). so, question - does anyone know a solution to install an Pioneer SPH-DA02 appradio in the dash and connect it to the main system (an optical interface adapter or something else). I have an 9 speackers alpine stereo.
any other suggestion (for devices having bluetooh, nav,...) for install - are welcome.
Freelander2, td4, 2011 sept model
thank you

Australia 2012 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Orkney Grey

I recently installed a Pioneer AVH4450BT to my '11 Freelander, so this will be very similar.

The best place I have found for harness adapters in Incartec in the UK http://incartec.co.uk/landrover/1789/1034/2056/radio/Browser.aspx.

The part numbers you will need are:
29-658-PDC (get this one so you will retain the parking sensors) you will also need an ISO to Pioneer Harness that will fit to the SPH-DA02
29-007-3V connects the steering wheel controls
21-123 Antenna adapter
50-853 Double DIN mount for the head unit

As far as the optical out, this Pioneer head unit doesn't have it by what I have seen on the Pioneer website so connecting it to the Alpine might need a bit of researching on the web.

The only issue I found with my install was you will lose the clock on the dash.

Hi, this is my first message. Thanks in advance to all members of the community. My problem is similar. I installed a Pioneer AVH-X2500BT a 2010 Freelander 2. I've installed senseres front and rear parking original Land Rover. Nececito an interface to retain PDC function and steering wheel controls. Nairbr, do they work well with the forwards-PDC 29-658? Thank you very much to all.
